All The Madmen

Crunch time! Working like a madman to get the Thor/Spider-Man sample pages done for Saturday. Here's another panel from one of those pages.

The Emerald City Comic Con looks like it's going to be a fun time. Lots of people to talk to. More than I originally thought, which is cool. I may even buy some comics...

A little late for this, but I think this specific panel would benefit from having a dark foreground element, perhaps a silhouette of a raised fist with truncheon to give it a little more dimension and provide a little more information about the spacial relationship between Spidey and the creatures. We can see that they are looking at him, but where is he exactly, in front of them, directly overhead, behind them, etc. Just a thought. Hey, good seeing you at the show. I've subscribed to your blog in Reader.

I agree that the spacial relationship in this is not quite working. Erik Larsen also made a good comment about the deletion of the hand and sword in the lower right corner. This panel was also one that Schreck took umbrage with, too. He didn't believe the Spidey figure's foreshortening was working, at all.

I don't know... I agree with you and Larsen but Bob's comment....?

Great report on ECCC Jason, I really look forward to seeing the rest of your sample pages, I'm sure they are great. It looks like an updated version of Marvel Team Up. It takes a lot of balls to go and do that and I had the same experience with Larson a few years back. He was really nice to as well but he didn't sugar coat anything. I'll probably pick your brain about this experience more if that's cool.

Thanks, Brent! Yeah, hit me up with any questions you have. I may even be able to answer one! :)
